New machine with Intel 12900K processor, 64 BM of memory, and VB 6.1.34r 150636 (Qt5.6.2) installed along with matching Extension Pack, fails to install any guest. Installation starts, then freezes. First attempted to move Win 10 VM from old system to new one, used the add function which placed the VM in the console and started the machine. The guest started. then froze. Left the machine running and desktop appeared 2+hours later in with frozen desktop.

Attempted to install fresh Win 11 guest with ISO file (TPM disabled) used successfully on Win 10 host. Install froze within seconds of being asked to press any key to start from CD.

Decided to try to install Win 7 guest. This got further, but froze at screen showing "Completing Installation".

Virtualization is enabled on the mobo. Attempts to install guests used all defaults. Found nothing on the forum that seemed to fit this situation.

Have attached logs (both VBox.log and VBoxHardening.log) along with screenshot at point of freeze for both Win 11 and Win 7.

I honestly don't know what to try next, so any suggestion would be appreciated.

The logs for both installation attempts contain:
which indicates that Hyper-V has been activated on the host machine and that still creates a compatibility problem with VirtualBox 6.1.34 so the most effective solution at present is to completely disable Hyper-V. See: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=99390 for further guidance

VirtualBox 6.1.36 (on release) is expected to include improvements which should enable VirtualBox to run more effectively when Hyper-V is active. This is currently undergoing Testing and you could try the latest Test Build (6.1.x revision 151866 or later) available from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds if you regularly need Hyper-V to be active. Note: If you choose this option please retain the installation files safely until you have successfully upgraded to the next official release as you will need them if you need to uninstall/repair the Test Build installation as the downloads are removed when any updates are added.

For the windows 7 VM you might also want to increase the CPU Core allocation from 1 to 2 as it should then run better when it does install. Please also note that VirtualBox 6.1,x does not officially support Windows 11 VMs, though many users have managed the install, so you will need to apply all required workarounds to run the installation successfully.

I am happy to report that the suggestions provided RESOLVED my problem. Guess it was due to being on the breeding edge of technology. Had to make sure that Microsoft Hyper-V was disabled as well as making sure that DeviceGuard, CredentialGuard, and Windows Defender's Core Isolation was set to OFF.
