Post by visiondlx »

Hi you all and sorry first for my bad english.
I have some problems with my VBox.

I'm running a VBox 2.0.2 on WindowsXP.
I tryed to install ubuntu first, then Vista and at last another XP. There were allways the same Problem, ich could ping my other computers and my router, but i cound not connect to the internet.

Has somebody a hint for me what the problem is?

Without your Network settings, we can't help you. Please provide them. If you only want internet for the Guests, attaching it to NAT will be enough. You won't be able to ping or access the Guests from the network. Please read the manual too.

What happens if you open your browser and go to http://66.249.91.103? If you get Google, then your DNS is not working properly. Set a working DNS server as primary in your Host. Only the first DNS server is passed to the VM.
