VirtualBox using nearly 100% CPU

Hi all, this is my first time at the forum. Not at VirtualBox, though. Have been a long user.

What brings me here is that the latest release of VirtualBox uses nearly 100% of my CPU and it gets impossible to work with it.

(I made a search on forum, but couldn't find nothing. If there is one other thread about it, please post this issue there and give me the link. Thanks.)

I even closed all other processes (the ones I could), still nothing. I made a search and I found on virtualbox page info related to memory leak and that there was a Windows Vista update for it. I installed it, still nothing. I guess it has nothing to do with it.

Anyone having this very same problem, and how can one fix it?

I never had this sort of problem before with any release of VirtualBox.

If there is no fix, where can I get the previous version of VirtualBox, as I don't have it.

Welcome to the forums.

Please check http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=10553 for a solution. There is a link in it to the bug tracker system that provides a solution by replacing two files.
