VB 6.1.34 r150636 on Win 11 kernel failure any Linux guest

I'm running VirtualBox Version 6.1.34 r150636 (Qt5.6.2) on Windows 11 Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.675)
on a Dell Latitude 7420. I've tried various versions of RHEL 8 and Lubuntu in a new VM. The kernel dies with [ end Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill the idle task! ] ---- whenever I try to install each one.
Hyper V is not installed.

Please post a VM log:
Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
Then please check if you have KB5013943 installed, see
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=106043. Try uninstalling it, then try your VMs again. If they start working, post another log.

Uninstalling security update KB5013943 fixed the issue. Thank you.

Glad you have your VM's working again. But without logs, we can't show the devs what to fix. If MS imposes that update or another like it, you're screwed. Please note my post did not say only to uninstall the update...
