Currently have version 6.1.22 installed on Windows 10. Trying to uninstall this version, install the same version, or install newest version. Each result in same generic error. "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run."
We are installing this with elevated rights.
We have removed all dll files and replaced from a machine that has a new install which is working.
We tried to repair.

Virtualbox does not distribute any DLLs to help it get installed. This problem is in the Windows OS's installer system, not in Virtualbox. You'll have to ask on a Microsoft forum or a Microsoft support tech. Try web-searching the error in quotes, lots of results are returned.
