Re: VM will not launch after upgrading CPU
You need to enable AMD-v virtualization (SVM) in your host PC BIOS, then restart from a full power down (restarting the host OS is not enough, the CPU has to lose power).00:00:00.528309 HM: HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM: AMD-V is disabled in the BIOS (or by the host OS)

Restarted to ensure that it was enabled. Then fully shutdown my pc and removed power from PSU. Rebooted everything and still getting the same error message.

Re: VM will not launch after upgrading CPU
I'm afraid that unless you can somehow demonstrate that the VirtualBox message is wrong (and I've never heard of it being wrong before), then I don't know what else I can tell you. This is a self build PC? In which case perhaps ask the motherboard vendor how to enable AMD-v with the supplied BIOS.

Re: VM will not launch after upgrading CPU
Also check to see if Hyper-V is enabled, See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active). And if you have 3rd-party antivirus, check that it is not using a "hardware virtualization' option.
Re: VM will not launch after upgrading CPU
Thank you both for your help. I contacted the motherboard manufacturer and they walked me through the process. In the X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi motherboard, there are two instances that mentioned Virtualization, I only had one Enabled.
