Problem:
Add old VM (.vbox file )to Vbox Manager -> Error "Could not find an open hard disk with uuid"
how can i add vbox file to the vbox manager?

Error "Could not find an open hard disk with uuid"

Result code: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND

What i have done

1. an application Installation, that install VBox 6.0.8 and Linux VM1.vbox automatically.

2. A Windows VM2 Import in Vbox 6.0.8 (vbox file created)

3. Delete VM1 and VM2 in List in Vbox 6.0.8

4. Uninstall Vbox 6.0.8 and Install 6.1.18

5. Try to add the VM1.vbox and VM2.vbox in Vbox 6.1.18
Error "Could not find an open hard disk with uuid" Result code: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND

This can happen in several ways, but the most obvious is that the newly added VM is a linked clone, and you have to restore the master VM before you can restore the linked clones.
