Using V2 and trying to get a vmware image to run. Image loads fine but then gets to a message saying 'Waiting for root file system' and just hangs there for ages and then I get the message
'Done.
Check root= bootarg cat /proc/cmdline
or missing modules, devices: cat /proc/modules ls /dev

ALERT /dev/sda1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell!'

This image works fine on vmware but I much prefer VBox !

Any ideas please ?

Sorted! Had to change the boot device in the grub loader!
