Hi,
I have tried installing a clean Windows 10 VM on my new laptop.
Getting BSOD or verrrrry slow booting.
Also with a clean VM made on another similar laptop (see attached log).
Looks like the symptoms of Hyper-V is running, but I think I have disabled it (via Turn Windows Features on/off > "HyperV" disabled and "Virtual Machine Platform" disabled.
Also ran 'bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off' and rebooted. Didn't help.
See logfile in attachment.

Re: Virtualbox hardly working on my new Windows 10 machine
indeed the green turtle showed me that Hyper-V was running.
Solved it by going to windows security > device security > core isolation > switch off memory integrity.

That has switched off one feature. Indeed that may be enough, but most of us normally have to do more to ensure that Hyper-v is properly killed. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active).Thomas VDB wrote:Solved it by going to windows security > device security > core isolation > switch off memory integrity.
