Windows 7 Host Guru Error Meditation Critical Error.

Post by PlantingPete »

I'm using Window 7 with VirtualBox 6.1.32 for Windows 98, Windows XP and Windows 10. All three were working fine and then I started to get VirtualBox - Guru Meditation - "A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped" on all three Windows versions.

Attached is the log file.

Thanks Best Regards

Here's what your little guru meditated on:

Since it's a Windows 7 host, you'll probably have 3rd-party antivirus, and it'll probably have just updated, and it'll probably have enabled something along the lines of 'hardware virtualization'. Find that setting in the AV settings, turn it off, and reboot.
