Hello, so I'm creating a new topic about this.
I'm getting BSOD IRQL NOT OR LESS EQUAL almost all the time. I think it's after extensions with USB 3 support installation (how to uninstall to test?)
I'm getting it everywhere, during login, after a few seconds on the desktop, everywhere.
BSOD only on VM windows - guest, not host.
Settings: Windows 10 Pro set to 4GB RAM, 30GB space, 1 core.
What else should I provide? I think I'm not able to get minidump because it happens a few seconds after login or even before.
Thank you.

Re: Windows 10 VM BSOD IRQL NOT OR LESS EQUAL
So I take from the above that the BSOD only happens in the VM, right?LMRig wrote:BSOD only on VM windows - guest, not host.
What are these "extensions"? Extension Pack? Guest Additions? Something else? Please remember what I posted in the other topic:LMRig wrote:I think it's after extensions with USB 3 support installation
keeping in mind that there are the "Extension Pack" which provides USB 3 in Virtualbox among other things, and the Guest Additions, which go in the VM and which do not influence USB in the VM.

Only in VM, yes.
But maybe I could be wrong with the extension pack causing problems, I just found how to uninstall it, so I can try tomorrow at work.
Thanks.

And I also edited the first day the first post on the first topic:LMRig wrote:...I think it's after extensions with USB 3...

Re: Windows 10 VM BSOD IRQL NOT OR LESS EQUAL
Thanks for the clarification. Please let us know if the BSODs stop after uninstalling the Extension Pack. You can also try uninstalling the Guest Additions from inside the VM.
Also, web-search into Microsoft's typical BSOD diagnosing techniques to troubleshoot the cause of the BSOD in the VM.

Re: Windows 10 VM BSOD IRQL NOT OR LESS EQUAL
So nothing. Removing the extensions pack didn't help.
I was already looking to troubleshoot this BSOD and there is "update everything". But I can't even update Windows when it goes to BSOD during login or a few seconds after login.
I think I have to try to reinstall Windows in VM.

Nothing, I did clean install twice and when I'm updating Windows it shows BSOD again.
Now I'm running without Extension Pack.

Please reproduce the issue, power down the VM and provide a (zipped) VBox.log file. Optionally, you can also provide a minidump file, using the following method (if you didn't encrypt the virtual Windows disk or partition):
Insert a Linux ISO image into the virtual DVD drive of the Windows VM, boot the VM into Linux, mount the Windows partition and copy the minidump file wherever you like.

Hmmm, I found a guide on how to remove that "turtle" and now it works much better also without BSOD, I'm installing windows updates like a charm, added an Extensions pack and I will see what happens.

I'm here after some time and it still works ok.
So everything was because of that slowness.
