I just tried opening my virtual machines in virtual box I get this error: Failed to get device handle and/or partition ID for 0000000001b88290 (hPartitionDevice=0000000000000d79, Last=0xc0000002/1) (VERR_NEM_VM_CREATE_FAILED).
Result Code:
E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component:
ConsoleWrap
Interface:
IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}
I did the command bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off to turn hyper-v off. I'm still getting this error code. I also checked the window features on the control panel to make sure Hyper V was off and it is off. THis was working fine yesterday and the day before. My host machine has windows 11 xps 9510 (not the one with alder lake, I have the previous processing intel chip Rocket lake I believe 11th generation). So what else can be done to fix this issue because obviously, it isn't hyper-v causing this issue.
