Hi to all,
I have a problem derived from the update to the new version of virtual box 6.1.32 and its extension pack (computer with Win 7 Pro 64b, Antivirus Mircrosoft Security Essentials).
The Windows XP 32bits virtual machine does not work, it generates a message error "status object name not found Error (0xc0000034)", attach a screenshot.
Can someone give me a solution?
I need to use this virtual machine, it is an old control process that I have not been able to migrate to more current versions of Windows.
Thank you

Re: Error Update To Virtual Box 6.1.32 and Extension Pack
Uninstall Virtualbox and reboot.
Go to "C:\Windows\System32\drivers", look for any files called 'Vbox*.sys' (there could be up to 5) and delete them.
Reboot again.
Microsoft Security Essentials should not interfere, but disable real-time scanning for a moment, just in case.
Reinstall Virtualbox using right-click-Run-As-Administrator.

Hello
Thanks scottgus1 for your contribution, in fact it's the first thing I thought, but I put the post in the forum in case there was an alternative.
All OK with the new version of VirtualBox 6.1.32.
