I have been using the VM fine just until now when I open my snapshot the VM fails to open and shows instruction at 0x000______ referenced memory at 0x)00000_____. memoy could not be read. I've tried looking at several posts but could not find anything. When I proceed to open up other snapshots, none of them work and when I restarted the vm, it ends up with a black screen with the blinking cursor/typer. I am unsure how to go about fixing this.

This is a basic Windows error box which happens when some required piece of memory unloads before a running program expects it to unload. This box rarely tells what the original problem was.

When the VM does this, the VM log may help explain why.

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the black screen with the blinking cursor, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
