VirtualBox Issue Win10 Host - Certain PC

Hello,

We are running into a problem on certain PCs in our network. Some of them can install VB no problem, but others the installer is rolling back.
We're running Win10 20H2, we've tried disabling Hyper-V, installing certificates and other forum suggestions.

This is the error we are running into:

We've tested on a machine that doesn't get this error, saved the certificate and installed into the Cert Store and still the issue persists.

Is there anything I've overlooked?

Sorry forgot to add, Virtualbox 6.1.32 64bit, pc has no access to the internet
Tried installing certs in MSI file but still fails when trying to install drivers

Uninstalled everything, made sure the drivers uninstalled by running driver query through Powershell and no VBox drivers were listed.

Followed all the advice from https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/16318 ... 8ac07438c4 (Uninstalling, rebooting, etc)

All of this doesn't work comes out with

Has the Windows 10 20H2 host been provided with the latest Microsoft updates? Note that there are several certificate chains involved.

It should have updates from the company WSUS but I can definitely check. Thank you for your reply!

Solved the issue.

For anyone else with a "A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider." issue please check the following
DigiCert Assured ID Root CA had expired on the machine.
Importing an updated one that had been exported from a working machine (with a later expiry date) did the trick.
