Upgraded from v6.1.26 -> v6.1.32 to add RHEL 8.5 Guest Extensions Support and came across this issue.

Guests would hang shortly after starting and mainly after a GUI login. I.e. Desktop shows and then Guest hangs.
VB Windows process would go to ~35% Utilization for each guest.

Vbox Log indicated maybe an audio issue:

Disabling Audio in the Guest seems to stop the issue. Luckily I don't need audio for my server labs :)

Did you try uninstalling VirtualBox from Control Panel, then deleting Oracle folder in Program Files (assuming you only have no Oracle products other than VirtualBox folder inside it), then reinstalling VirtualBox 6.1.32? I do that all the time without loosing my Virtual Machines or their settings!!
