Solaris 10 U5 Guest Install Fails

I am installing S10 U5 ( 5/08 ) on VBox 2.02 and it hangs a configuring devices and is painfully slow to get to that point. I disabled ACPI and it gets me to the same point with errors regarding UART address errors then hangs.
1 in 5 attempts gets me to the Solaris Interactive install point. Proceeding is a exercise in delay.
Any help is appreciated.
I am running VBox 2.02 on Windows XP Pro SP3 with current updates.
VBox VM allocated 768MB RAM, VBox created Disk 10GB, Toshiba Tecra M3 with 2.0Ghz processor
