I have just installed Virtual Box and created the first VM. When I try and start it I get a dialog that says:
NtWriteVirtualMemory/Peb failed: 0xc0000022
Please try reinstalling VirtualBox.

I've searched for this but not found anything that resembles my situation. I've tried reinstalling. I tried removing Hyper-V (it was originally installed). And changing acceleration.
Any ideas?

Provide a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

It seems that the save button won't. I copied and pasted to a text file and zipped that. Hope that works for you.

Looks like the host computer is owned by BeyondTrust Privilege Management and/or Sophos Endpoint Defense, and not by Microsoft or by you.
So you'll probably have to persuade them to let VirtualBox do its job.
