Virtualbox doesn't install on windows 11

Hi,
i have a problem to install virtualbox.6.1.32 on my windows11 host (Build22543.rs_prerelease.220122-2315).
After the notice of the installation of a network adapter, the installation begins, which then ends with a roll-back.
I haven't any log file, and the only thing that i can see on Windows EventViewer is this message:

Can anyone help me?

Windows preview releases aren't supported by Virtualbox, but they may still work.

The Virtualbox installer is really a Microsoft program that works with the Windows MSI installer database. Google for how to enable MSI logging, then try the installation again. If it fails, please post the log as a zip file using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

I've installed Vbox, unselecting "Virtual Box USB Support". Vm's works fine, but i can't set network in BridgeMode.

I can use VM only with NAT Network.

We don't want to run afoul of One issue per thread and turn this into an "all of Emic17's VM problems" topic.

But the installer has an option to disable Bridged too. Sounds like you hit that toggle as well when you turned off USB.

Note that most folks can use the USB option, so look at your installed apps and plugged-in devices to see if there is something unusual on your PC regarding USB that could be disabled or removed, so Virtualbox USB can be installed.

Did the MSI log point out an issue over USB to you? Or did you just start trying things until something stuck?
