Start the VM from full power off, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

Please right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. If any logs are shown, save the far left tab's log, zip the log file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

If no logs are shown, please state your host PC's OS.

Hi,
I think we we misunderstood, it's actually the virtual box application who won't boot.
I installed virtualbox on my physical pc which run under windows 10.
thanks.

Oh, OK, thanks for the clarification. "Client" meant "VM" to me.

Please try disconnecting all USB devices from the host PC except a wired keyboard and mouse, then reboot the host and try Virtualbox again. Please let us know what happens.

If it still doesn't work as expected, you could provide a zip file containing the contents of the C:\Users\<username>\.VirtualBox folder, which contains the global log files.

I am understanding this to say that removing the USB devices allowed the Virtualbox window to open. You can now try adding the USB devices one by one in this procedure:
  1. Close the Virtualbox window.
  2. Wait 30 seconds to allow the Virtualbox background service to shut off.
  3. Add a USB device.
  4. Try opening the main Virtualbox window.
  5. If the window opens, go back to step 1 and try a different device.
The USB device that prevents the Virtualbox window from opening is preventing the Virtualbox service's USB query from starting properly. I don't know how to filter that device out, if such a filter is even possible. But you may be able to plug in the device again after the main Virtualbox window is opened.
