I can't install oracle Virtual box

While on window10, I was regularly using the oracle virtual-box.

But on a particular build (I don't remember the build no. ) of windows11, the app started crashing and so I uninstalled it.

Now on build 22543, I tried to install it again.

The installer is doing "Rolling back action" after "Copying files" and displaying an error message stating "setup wizard ended prematurely"

At first I believed that it is due to the memory integrity aor the defender, so I tried by turning off integrity , real time protection as well as controlled folder acess.

But still I got the same error, I don't have any 3rd party anti-virus installed, Feture like virtual machine as well as hyper visor platforms are enabled.

So please can anyone help me out from this.

Virtualbox is installed via the Windows MSI installer system. Web-search how to enable MSI logging, then try the installer again. Zip and post the log file the installer makes.

Hey there!
I don't think it is a problem with the windows installer,
I doubt if it is the compatibility issue with the program (Virtualbox)
cause not just me few more people on windows11 are facing the same issue
Kindly look into it and do the needful !

Please note that Insider Preview builds of Windows 10/11 are not supported by VirtualBox AFAIK.

Yeah it was there in list of known issues nearly 5-10 builds ago
but now, it is not in the list
That's why I believed that they have made the required changes with the latest build
