Hi, I wonder if I can run Windows 10 64 bit on a Windows 7 64 bit machine with 206 GB's free on the primary drive? Is it advisable?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thank you for replying scottgus1. The attached image shows what old Speccy says about CPU, RAM etc.scottgus1 wrote:Plenty of room there for a 10 VM. Available RAM and host CPU capability are much more important, though.
Make a new 10 VM, don't even bother installing the OS. Just start the VM, let the 10 installer load up, then close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
Then right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
The log will show the host capabilities, which will show how well it might handle a 10 VM
Hi, please update me 'cause I missed something - what zipped log?mpack wrote:Please read the instructions again. We need to see the zipped log asked for.

The log tells about more things than "old Speccy" does.scottgus1 wrote:Make a new 10 VM, don't even bother installing the OS. Just start the VM, let the 10 installer load up, then close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
