VirtualBox 6.1.30/Monterey/M1Pro - will not install!

Using a new M1Pro chip Macbook Pro running macOS 12.0.1 (Monterey)
Installer fails with the message:
I thought v6.1.30 was supposed to resolve this, or are there separate issues with the OS (Monterey) vs the chip type (M1Pro vs Intel)?
Sadly the release/change nottes are so cryptic it's not possible to tell.

The installer has detected an unsupported architecture. VirtualBox only runs on the amd64 architecture.
