I am running VirdualBox 6.1 on a Windows 11 host.
After installing WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux), and VirtualBox VMs would no longer boot properly. At the point where you login to Ubuntu Linux, the VM displays the message "Uh oh. Something went wrong."
Note that this does not happen if I run a VM under VMware.
All VMs will not boot after WSL install

Re: All VMs will not boot after WSL install
That is known. WSL uses Hyper-V, which sometimes up-ends Virtualbox. The devs are working on getting Virtualbox to work under Hyper-V, but sometimes it doesn't work. There is no forum-known way to predict whether a particular PC, Windows OS or VM OS type will work or not.
See some of the posts in I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests and HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active)
