Guest networking after moving host ?

Hi all

Apologies if this has previously been answered - if so please just point me to the thread !

Running VB on Windows 10 host over wired connection with various Linux guests & bridged adaptor. Guests an access internet fine

As soon as I move the host onto wireless, guest networking fails with "activation of network connection failed" or some such.
a) how to fix ? and
b) why does this happen at all as all guest networking as via the host anyway ?

Bridged doesn't always work on Wi-Fi. See Virtualbox Networks: In Pictures: Bridged Adapter
