Post by i.c.e »

Hi
I've got a toshiba equium a210 with a AMD 64 athlonx2, 1 GB of ram and a ATI radeon x1200 with vista installed and I installed vbox on my computer. When I try to install Ubuntu on a v box the computer BSOD, windows problem reports and solutions said this promblem was caused by ATI graphics driver but I had cheked it is up to date. I have installed Ubuntu as duel boot and it works fine i wood like to use v box as it quicker than restarting the computer all the time can some one help please thank you.

With 1Gb and Vista forget trying to run a VM with any virtualisation product. You don't have enough RAM. Sorry.

I don't know. If you start to run out of memory then all sorts of things can start to fail in funny ways -- a video device driver can fail just like any other S/W component.
