virtualbox.org

I have installed virtualbox 1.6.6 on xp host. I installed a red hat linux guest. But can't increase resolution higher than 800x600. I have added the following line in display subsection of screen in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

modes "2048x800" "800x600"

but no luck. Can some one guide me what exactly I need to do to see screen fullsize.

This topic has been discussed many times, I'd try doign a search for it for more details.

If i recall
1) make sure the guest additions are installed and loaded
2) reconfigure your guest's X config files
3) Something I'm forgetting
4) should work
