RPG Maker Hangs when Virtualizing Windows XP

Post by silicon-fox »

I am running Mandriva Linux as my primary Os, but when I try to run the game test play of any RPG Maker on Windows XP SP3, which is what I am using VIrtualBox to virtualize, it hangs... RPG Maker is a program used to make games and I can't runit right through WINE, when I test a game, Virtualbox hangs, can someone help me?

If RPG Maker provides any calls to DirectX, you can't run it in VB. The VB Graphics Card does not support DirectX nor any other 3D rendering. You have to run it on bare hardware.
