Windows 10 host runs windows 7 guest abysmally
I am trying to run windows 7 on a windows 10 laptop, and no matter what I did, I changed the virtualisation option, or the graphics controller, I just can't get windows 7 to run normally. however I can run a lubuntu guest with ok performance. My suspected culprit is the 2d acceleration isn't on for some reason, even though I ticked on for 3d acceleration. included is the log of my windows guest

Re: Windows 10 host runs windows 7 guest abysmally
Not much I can tell from a 10 second session. As far as I can tell, the VM is suspended (or suspends itself) the instant it begins to boot. I'm not seeing any VM fault - though I think it would run better with 2 cores rather than 4.
Where did this Win7 image come from?
