Hello Everyone,
I am very new to the VM space and am very fascinated on how to have two or more instances running on my single windows 10 host.
Firstly I had a hard time getting the VM to even start, until i stumbled on an error message that led me to enable the VT on my UEFI firmware. And i was happy that finally, Eureka.
Unfortunately, the VM starts, but fails to find the image file of the OS which is installed on a USB as instructed. It does not even list it as an option from where to boot from. It only shows a HOST E which is not functional.
I need help guys on how to get it running.

Error Message:
Fatal: Could not read from the boot medium!System halted

Virtualbox will only boot from USB if you set the VM to use the EFI boot environment: the VM's System settings, Motherboard, Enable EFI. (Your desired VM OS also has to be compatible with being installed on EFI.)

The old-school BIOS boot environment that is used when 'Enable EFI' is not checked does not support booting from USB.

ISO CD images or physical CDs in the host's CD drive (such as the 'Host E') will boot into either BIOS or EFI boot environment.

Thank you for your help, I didn't even know that was an issue.
Anyway, it went on to start, however it got stuck
And the last line of the msg on the screen reads
Press ESC in 1 seconds to skip startup.nsh or any other key to continue,
I did that, but it just stopped right there, could it be tat my VM OS is not compatible to run on EFI, and if yes, any recommendations?
Maybe I can try a different distribution of Ubuntu, cuz i am hoping to try out the Linux OS as part of my course.

FWIW, just wait (up to the down-counted 5 seconds) for the prompt and enter 'exit' to get to the boot menu.

Ok, am I supposed to change change anything in the boot menu cuz I got there, and didn't, I just navigated to continue and it brought me back to former screen

As a new user, you might find the first section in the manual useful.

Also, try installing from an ISO in the CD drive of the VM on BIOS boot instead of EFI and USB.
