Installer for 6.1.8 just hangs on OSX 11.2.3

Trying to update from VirtualBox 6.1.16 r140961 but the installer just hangs and needs to be force quit. Anything I can do?
I'm reluctant to do a full uninstall in case I can't reinstall again!

It might well be a compatibility issue, though I haven't seen any other mentions of the same problem. The VirtualBox User Guide for version 6.1.18 states that the only supported MacOS Hosts are:
• Mac OS X hosts (64-bit):
– 10.13 (High Sierra)
– 10.14 (Mojave)
– 10.15 (Catalina)
High Sierra is, of course, also the oldest version still supported by Apple.

Ah... thank you. Maybe I'll hang fire for a while then in case I hear more.

So I got this fixed.
I copied the pkg out of the VirtualBox DMG to local disk and ran it from there, worked a charm.
Updated on the latest version now
