Hi guys, i am getting this error from my VB anytime i try to power up my linux server. Any advice pls?

Please right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log.

Search the far left tab's log for this text:

Attempting fall back to NEM

If you find it, Hyper-V is enabled. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active).

If you don't find that text, save the far left tab's log, zip the log file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

And one other thing that can help: The Snipping Tool. Comes with Windows, makes much better screenshots, saves them right on the PC, easy to upload.

Thank you for replying me.. I tried the steps but it did not work for me. After i searched, this is what i got:

HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM: VT-x is not available
00:00:05.606836 NEM: WHvCapabilityCodeHypervisorPresent is TRUE, so this might work...

Can you please reply with the steps i should take to fix this?

Folks who follow the steps properly, and don't have corporate IT overlords undoing their attempts, succeed in turning off Hyper-V. and the linked tutorials are all we have.
