Any way to delete VirtualBox host-Only ethernet adapter

Post by sirius123 »

hi,

i'm new to virtualbox, i only followed a tutorial that used it to make a VM. i have notice that it does create an Ethernet adapter and each time i disabled it, it create another one if i restart the computer. it is sometime a problem because i run Blue Iris sowftare on this machine and sometime it take the wrong ethernet adapter for it's web interface, so i can't access my security camera from another computer.

Is there any way to prevent VirtualBox from creating this ethernet adapter?

if you need more info about the vm or other thing don't hesitate to ask me.

In the main Virtualbox window, File menu, Host Network Manager, you can delete the Host-Only network(s). That should delete the adapter.
