Fedora guest stuck on black screen with a white cursor

I have installed Virtual Box 6.1.4 with a Fedora 33 linux guest. When the Fedora guest boots, I get a black screen with a white cursor.

I have tried changing various options:

• amount of video memory (currently 128 MB)
  number of of vCPUs (currently 2)
  graphics controller (VSVGA etc)
  IO-APIC
  Host I/O cache
  PAE/NX
  Hardware virtualisation
  Paravirtualization interface

but none help.

Intel virtualization is turned on in the BIOS.
Hyper-V is turned off in the Windows host.
When the VM tries to start, the green turtle is displayed at the bottom of the window which indicates Hyper-V is active

Can somebody please check my log files (attached) for any problems?
