two Win10Home hosts running VB 6.1.18: Q4OS issues

I have two Win10Home hosts running VB 6.1.18

On one (running 20H2 19042.804) everything seems to work fine. By "everything" I mean that I have installed Q4OS (a Debian-based distro) with no problems. I have also customized it somewhat and created an OVA.

On the other (also running 20H2 19042.804) I have *not* been able to get Q4OS installed. It gets as far as displaying the boot menu, but when I select either option, I just get a black screen with blinking cursor.

I also tried importing the OVA that I created on the first box. When I boot this machine on the 2nd box, I get two lines:
Loading Q4OS operating system ...
Loading initial ramdisk ...

Then nothing.

Since I was having problems with Q4OS, I tried the same thing with Zorin Lite (an Ubuntu-based distro) with similar problems.

Since everything is working fine on my first box, there must be something about my 2nd box which is causing the problems. I completely deleted VB, rebooted, then reinstalled, but no change.

I have attached my Log files.

Any suggestions?

'Tis the usual suspect. Hyper-V is enabled. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active)

Drat!

I think I enabled hyper-V for WSL. So I have to choose between WSL and VirtualBox? :(

The original WSL apparently does not use Hyper-V, but WSL2 does. For now, unfortunately, yes, it's either or. The devs are working on it, though.

Reverted to WSL1 and turned off 'Virtual Machine Platform.' Everything seems to work now! :)
