Error!!!!Need help

Hello guys, i Tried to import an ubuntu vm from an old pc to a newer one and after i installed vm, also the ubuntu, this error pops up, please help me.

It appears you changed the default install path for Virtualbox to the D drive in the unfortunately incorrect idea that the VM's would thereby go on the D drive too.

First, uninstall Virtualbox, reboot, then reinstall Virtualbox using right-click-run-as-Administrator, even if you already have Admin privileges. Reinstall in to the default "C:\Program Files\Oracle\Virtualbox".

Then try your VM again. (see https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch10. ... ine-folder for where the VMs go by default and how to change this default.)

Also please use the Windows built-in screenshot tools instead of a phone photo, it's much more readable.

I will try but if it that still doesn’t work, what should i do ?

I’ve unistalled the vm and still gives me this error, i ve exported the ubuntu and the imported here, on this pc, and i can t figure what i’ve done wrong, please help

Thanks for trying the suggestions.

It appears that your screenshots show Windows 7 as the host OS. Virtualbox 6.1.x does not support Windows 7 as a host OS anymore.

Try the later versions of 6.0.x here: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds_6_0

Use the same uninstall reboot Run As Admin reinstall procedure. If you have the Extension Pack installed that too needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to the matching 6.0.x version you pick.

FWIW it seemed to me from the forum reports that 6.0.14 was really stable.
