Whenever I log in to the client instance, the bottom part is cut off after the resolution adjusts. The only way I can fix this is to expand the host window again, or click View > Adjust Window Size, or change the client's display resolution. It's super-annoying and getting frustrating, because many of the icons and buttons are also cut off.
Is there a way to fix this? I remember in old versions of VirtualBox, the view and window would automatically adjust properly.
I'm using Linux Mint 20 xfce 64-bit on a Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 host.

Much of the things you mention can be fixed by installing the bundled Guest Additions https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04. ... ions-linux and https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch02. ... nux-prereq
