All Ubuntu machines die

I'm having a similar problem but haven't found a solution yet. If I wait 30 seconds and then switch views the desktop appears. Normally I start it full screen, switch to scaled, and then back to full screen. Home (right-ctrl) + c and then home + f seems to be a good work around.

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log and the hardening log next to it, zip them, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

Hope I got the logs right.

Thanks for the logs. There are no hardening troubles. The log does not show a dying VM, it seems to run just fine.
What exactly is your problem again?

Someone else started the thread. I thought the problem was related to mine and it was after logging in the desktop never showed up. Basically, the screen went blank. However, those posts went away (I assume the author deleted them).
I'm going to move to the Linux Guests subject and post the problem there. I'm almost certain it is a problem with guest additions.
