Yesterday I installed Docker for a side project, which turned on WSL2.
Since then I've been unable to use Virtualbox at all. I was first prompted with memory errors, every time I attempted to start up my VM, which made me think that my image got corrupted but after some googling, I now believe that WSL2 is at fault.
However, with Docker and WSL2 turned off (not uninstalled) I'm still unable to turn on a VM. This time the process freezes during startup (log mentions heartbeat timer flatlining). I've both tried running my old VM and starting a fresh install. Everything freezes.
I've also uninstalling Virtualbox and installing the newest version (6.1.16 r140961 (Qt5.6.2)) but the problem still persists.
Not sure how to resolve the issue now, so any suggestion is appreciated.
Virtualbox stopped working after installing Docker.

That'll do it. So will Docker, to my knowledge.Einar wrote:I now believe that WSL2 is at fault.
Hyper-V is enabled and needs to be disabled. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active).
