So it looked like my initial windows 10 install had almost finished when it changed to a BLANK blue screen. A few minutes later it showed the message of "Why did my PC restart" . It goes on to say there was a problem getting the PC read to use, but that they 'think' and update will help get things working again. It says I need to connect a network cable and click Next. I know my internet connection is working as I am on the host machine doing stuff like writing to forums...
The only option is to click next at which point the screen changes to a blank blue screen, followed again by the "Whyd did my PC restart" again... and again.... and again... (each time I click next).
When I created this I think I gave it more resources that were needed... 8gig ram of my 16Gig, 100GB of disk space, 4 cores, 3d acceleration graphics, and enabled PAE/NX.
puzzled what to try next. I am too new according to this forum, so it won't let me post screen shots.

First, a log would be more useful than a screenshot. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.PastExpiryDotCom wrote: I am too new according to this forum, so it won't let me post screen shots.
Second, there is nothing stopping you adding screenshots. There IS something stopping you adding URLs, which you shouldn't be doing anyway: attach all files locally using the "Upload Attachment" tab.
