(SOLVED) Windows 7 is displayed in a box

Hello!

Host:
Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon
Intel© Core™ i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz × 4
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Bonaire XTX [Radeon R7 260X/360] (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

I have installed and successfully used Windows 7 under Virtualbox last year.
I had to reinstall Linux Mint and also I installed the latest VirtualBox version.
Even tho I installed the guest additions, Windows 7 is in a „box” (can't find my words right now).
No matter what screen resolution I set in Windows 7, it is still displayed weird. This did not happened with previous version of VirtualBox I used.
I do not want the full screen (seamless). I want to see the VirtualBox bar and stuff.

Can someone tell me what did I do wrong and how to fix this?
Thank you in advance.

I attached the zipped log (too big) and also a screenshot to see what I am talking about: https://i94.servimg.com/u/f94/12/38/23/87/screen11.jpg

1. Start your VM. Go to "Windows Control Panel" (German: Systemsteuerung) and change the resolution into 1920x1080 pixel.
2. VirtualBox window: Go to menu->view choose "full screen".

Hope this helps.

Thank you, but is not what I want.
Doing what you wrote, made my Windows 7 be full screen and my Linux taskbar could not be seen or accessed.

Can you select "resize guest to window" in the "View" menu?

I just do not get it.
After I wrote the post I shutdown my PC and turn it on few moments ago.
I wanted to do what @Martin wrote, but I was shocked to see my Windows is displayed correctly (on the whole screen, having my Linux taskbar below).
I did no settings at all, and I did restarted my PC several times after installing the guest additions.
I guess this is solved (mysteriously).

Probably down to the Linux distro needing a 'hard' restart/reboot rather than a 'soft' restart to shut down and reinitiate some running services..

Probably, but these days, I have received a lot of Linux updates.
Maybe, there was something fixed, I guess.
Topic solved and thank you for replying.
