Some USB devices not visible by Win10 guest

I have a Lenovo S30 Thinkstation running Ubuntu 16 as host. I installed VirtualBox 6.1, with the extension pack. As guest OS I installed Windows 10, to run some software that uses a USB 3 (composite) device for some measurements. I already added the Ubuntu user to the "vboxusers" group. However, when I try to add USB devices in the settings of VirtualBox, I can only see some of them. Interestingly, "lsusb" does list the devices that I need, but two of them don't appear in VirtualBox, whereas the others do. I know that there is no Linux driver for the device I need. By the way, I tried also "ndisgtk" to install some Windows driver, but no success. Any idea? My hardware is kind of specialized.

Go through USB basics and troubleshooting. If steps 1 through 7 cannot get your device working, please provide the troubleshooting command outputs in step 8, as text in

First, thanks for the fast response. Second, I tried steps 1through 7 (before posting here), but nothing helped.

The devices I need, but don't appear in Win10, are from Cypress Semiconductor Corp. and they are a USB Hub and a USB SuperSpeed Hub. I found VID and PID by connecting them to another Win10 computer. The other ones that belong to the setup and do appear in Win10 device manager are from vendors Basler and KSV. Unfortunately this is not enough for the software to work.
