Noob help ubuntu Vitualbox
Guys, I need to install ubuntu using Oracel virtual box. In the first go, everything went well and I was able to run my machine. .vdi file was provided by my professor. But then my computer ran out of space and I moved the .vdi file to an external storage and tried some settings in VM to map the route from initial location to new location but it did not went well and destroyed everything. Now I am not able to run the same machine or even able to start a new machine. Please help.

Move the vdi file back to where it was before, then use the Move command (when you right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's list) to move the whole VM to the external drive.
Note that the external drive must be USB 3 or your VM's running speed may be painfully slow. Also, don't unplug the drive while the VM is running.
