Hi All,

I am relatively new to Virtual box and networking. I was using bridged adapter mode on my virtual machine and then went for vacation and connected to some other wifi. However after coming back , I am not able to have connectivity over bridged adapter no matter what i try.

I have deleted the VB and reinstalled it as well , still having the same issue. I have tried most of the solutions provided online and nothing is working.

Kindly guide me.

Did you run updates between then and now? Bridged does not always work on Wi-Fi, which can be interfered with by new Wi-Fi adapter drivers. Updates to the Wi-Fi access point firmware might also interfere.

Check to see that the Properties of the Wi-Fi adapter shows the Bridged binding still checked:


Also, try Bridging to a wired Ethernet adapter, to see if Bridged still works.

Did you make any changes to the network setup inside the VM's OS when you attached to the other Wi-Fi?
