Hi all, I faced the issue of installation of ubuntu on virtualbox of my Windows 10 machine. On the last step of my installation (the one that need to type the user name and password), I would get notification that there is serious error of guru meditation and system crashed, I am very confused and not sure why this is the case. I have attached the whole log file with this post, if there is any help, there would be many thanks.
Kind regards
Rose

00:00:03.756044 Host RAM: 8071MB (7.8GB) total, 4931MB (4.8GB) available
...
00:00:03.957556 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000200000000 (8 589 934 592, 8 192 MB, 8.0 GB)
Your host has 8GB RAM in total, so you can't possibly afford to allocate 8GB of that to the VM.
You have 4.8GB available, so the most I would give to the VM would be 3GB (3192MB), and even that only if it really needs it. 2GB (2048MB) would be a more comfortable fit.
00:00:03.957777 VRamSize <integer> = 0x0000000001000000 (16 777 216, 16 MB)
From riches to rags, you don't seem to have considered the other VM settings. 16MB is nothing like enough graphics RAM. Increase to 128MB.
Also increase cores to 2, though it must be said that your host only has two cores (yes, 4 threads, but threads don't matter) so there is no ideal setting here.
Then install the extension pack. When the guest is running, install the Guest Additions too.
