VirtualBox 6 on Windows 10 Guru Meditation error

Post by Fingil »

Hi,

I've used the Windows 10 Virtual Box for about 2 months but now for all of my images I have problem, and I try to install a new virtual windows 10 but the same problem after restarting the windows during installation.

You can find the 2 logs directory in Zip file in attachment
The first, Logs - Copy, is the error appears by VirtualBox after first restating the machine during installation and the second, Logs, it shows different error page from windows

Thanks in advance for your help,
Fingil

Hyper-V is enabled and needs to be disabled. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active).

Is Hyper-V = Virtual machine platform?
I remove the check and works.

Thanks for the help.

PS: In your tutorial I can see just this text related to Home edition:
For Windows Home users, Hyper-V exists on Home too, and several services can be made to use it. Only the ability to run Hyper-V virtual machines is not available in Home.
and nothing about "Virtual machine platform"

Gotta read between the lines there. Microsoft may change the names of their stuff over time, as they have done. It's all based on the Hyper-V hypervisor.
