"I can't" dos not help in any direction.
So privide the relevant info how you try to install the additions and what errors you get?

Re: Can't install Guest additions on Deepin 20
Linux needs a bit of preparation to install Guest Additions. And due to the differences between Linux distros, one distro may be easier than another handling this preparation. (I got one distro of Ubuntu to install Guest Additions, on another I was unsuccessful.)user009 wrote:it's so frustrating not to be able to do something as simple as that
Per the Virtualbox manual, https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04. ... ions-linux and https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch02. ... nelmodules, you must install the "linux kernel headers" before you try the Guest Additions install.
You might need a friend to help you with this preparation locally. Also try reading through the Linux Guests forum, this has come up a few times.user009 wrote:if some one please can guide me as i am a beginner to Linux

Re: Can't install Guest additions on Deepin 20
I believe Deepin is based on Debian and uses Debian/Ubuntu style Terminal commands so following the guidance for Debian in the VirtualBox Manual Para 4.2.2.1 should work.
