The title is "DVD Player Recondition". I'm assuming that the last word should actually be "Recognition". Are you trying to play DVD movies? (it's confusing because the text of your message mentions CD). If you are trying to play a DVD movie then you probably need to enable the "Passthrough" setting for the CD/DVD device in the VM settings, this may allow region checking. Note however that this only gives it a good chance of working, it is not a guarantee: there is never a guarantee when you try to control actual hardware with a VM.
If I have not answered the correct question then can you ask it question again? Use your own language, write as simply as possible, that way we can make sense of it using DeepL.

A VM is a separate PC, it will not immediately see hardware belonging to that other PC, your host PC.
You need to mount the host drive in the VM, and also enable the "Passthrough" setting that I previously mentioned. The VM should then be able to see the drive, but there are still no guarantees that a VM can use physical hardware directly.

In the VM's Storage settings, click the optical drive, then click the CD icon dropdown, set to the Host Drive, then Passthrough's checkbox will appear.
