Hi,
I am a new user, so if you kindly let me know something I have missed in posting this issue, i will update. thanks.

I have spent made several attempts at installing Windows 10 on Virtual box, but it always ends up at the message that 'Windows has been unable to install and has to restart in attempt to solve the problem". I will post the exact message if needed.
- laptop has Win10, RAM of 16GB
- chkdsk found no issues
Virtual box
- Tried virtualbox latest version and then virtual box 6.1. I get the same error
- I use 2GB or more RAM and 50GB or 100GB Hard disk for setting up the VM
- default options for everything else.
Windows
- Downloaded installation media from Windows 10 website
- Have tried automatic repair, but didn't help
Initially I was getting OOBE errors, but after following some google search advice, I was able to get past those.
Adding attachment with the logs from VM.

You have one processor for the VM, and Windows 10 adores 2 processors. Push that spider up a notch.

However, your host PC has only 2 physical hyperthreaded cores (and hyperthreads don't count), so the above advice does go against typical usage to leave a core available for the host OS. I have the same kind of processor setup in my laptop, and I can run Windows 10 VMs. Performance is OK but not stellar. Try it, but if the VM goes full throttle on both processors for a considerable time, be prepared for host stability to suffer.
