Black screen on boot after installing guest additions

Hi. I am using a Windows XP 64-bit guest on Ubuntu 20.04 host. It was working fine until I installed guest additions. Now I can't log in. I just get a black screen and sometimes a loading bar that never fully fills up. I have attached the log.
